Read Japanese communicates with Firebase (Google) services for some features. What is sent is limited to what those features need.
Information the app collects
To improve the app, fix bugs, show ads and manage purchases, we use the following services:
- Firebase Analytics (Google): usage data such as screens viewed and features used
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): device information (such as model and OS version) and error logs when the app crashes
These services handle information under their providers' own privacy policies.
Permissions
The app may ask for the following permissions. Each is used only to provide that feature.
- Calendars: to show or use your events
- Camera: to take photos or video
- Face ID: to unlock the app
- Health (read): to work with your Health data
- Health (write): to record to Health
- Location: for features that depend on where you are
- Microphone: to record or capture voice input
- Motion sensors: for features that use the device's orientation or movement
- Photo library: to choose and load photos
- Saving to your photo library: to save photos or videos
- Siri: for Siri and Shortcuts
- Speech recognition: to turn speech into text. This uses Apple's speech recognition, so audio may be processed on Apple's servers
- Tracking: related to showing ads
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
